Colin Wu

Ar. Colin Wu has been in architectural practice for over 28 years. Throughout his career, he oversaw and led many landmark and award-winning projects in Singapore, namely the Gardens by the Bay, the National Museum, Mandai Crematorium, Jurong Lakeside Garden, the upcoming Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System and more recently, the State Courts Towers. Colin’s ability to envision, and lead mega and highly complex projects, from design inception to completion, helped propel these projects to the highest recognition. Iconic projects, which Colin contributed to in his career, have won the President*s Design Award three times, along with the ARCASIA and SIA Design Awards.

TAN HOOI ONG

Ar. Tan Hooi Ong has amassed more than 25 years of professional experience in architectural planning and design, project and contract administration and project supervision since graduating from Melbourne University in 1994. He has worked across various types of projects such as institution, residential, commercial office, industrial, community and garden projects. In the State Courts Towers project, Hooi Ong supervised a multidisciplinary team (MDT) in the construction phase of the project. With his extensive knowledge, Hooi Ong was instrumental in leading the MDT team in driving processes and design development, including liaisons with the client, obtaining authority clearances, and coordinating with contractors in executing design features.

LOH KAR KHENG

Qualified Person for Civil & Structural Engineering
CPG Consultants

Er. Loh Kar Kheng had over 20 years of experience in major rail, structural, civil and geotechnical engineering projects. As the Qualified Person (Civil Engineering) for the State Courts Towers, Er. Loh came up with an innovative basement construction method that minimised ground movement and prevented construction from adversely affecting the neighbourhood buildings. He also devised a safe strategy for the building of the link bridges to minimise working from great heights onsite. For these, he won the BCA Excellence award for innovative engineering solutions. He was also the principal geotechnical engineer of the S$1 billion Gardens by the Bay project in his career with CPG and was involved in several underground MRT projects.  Er. Loh made significant contributions to his field and was a valued member of CPG, we shall always remember his achievements and think of him fondly.

KULANDAIVELU MUTHU KUMAR

Er. Kulandaivelu Muthu Kumar is a professional engineer with 31 years of experience in the built environment. Er. Kumar’s expertise is honed from his long record of working in various roles, such as in government agencies, building consultancies and with contractors. He is well versed in the Civil & Structural design of project typologies such as residential, industrial, institutional and commercial, as well as audit checks of key structural elements and structural approval for projects. Er. Kumar is currently the Structural Lead for the design and construction of the Aviation Park MRT Station and its related tunnels in Singapore.

Mark Chan

Er. Mark Chan is a registered professional and licensed Electrical Engineer with over 20 years of experience. With his expertise in electrical building services, system design and project management, Mark was involved in front-end engineering design, economic analysis, and due diligence studies for Mechanical & Electrical installations in various projects and developments, covering a diverse range of typologies such as commercial and residential, institutional, data centres, oil and gas plants and pharmaceutical plants. Some significant local projects that Mark was involved in include Marina One, the Standard Chartered Bank Office Relocation and Resorts World at Sentosa, and Additions & Alterations works for Tiong Bahru Plaza and Havelock II.

YEO TIONG YEOW

Mr. Yeo Tiong Yeow has over 37 years of experience as a professional quantity surveyor, with an impressive portfolio covering numerous mega-sized healthcare, office and institutional projects. Tiong Yeow’s expertise in quantity surveying has ensured the highest possible professional standards in quantity surveying services rendered for projects under his wing. Over the years, he oversaw the completion of a diverse range of development projects, often valued over a few billion dollars, including Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Changi Airport Terminal 2, Changi Prison Complex, the new Supreme Court building and Jurong Island Link.

TAN CHENG CHUAH

As a Board Member and the Managing Director of three leading companies, Construction Professionals Pte Ltd and PM Link Pte Ltd in Singapore and PM Link Sdn Bhd in Malaysia, Tan Cheng Chuah holds 30 years of experience navigating the changing built environment industry. His extensive industry knowledge and leadership skills have contributed to the transformation and growth of these companies, especially in response to the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Cheng Chuah has led teams in successfully delivering iconic projects such as transforming Singapore’s former Supreme Court and City Hall into National Gallery Singapore, the State Courts Towers, and the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID).

CHERYL KOH

Lead Project Manager, Project Management

As an experienced Project Management Director and a registered architect, Ar. Cheryl Koh oversaw and led a broad range of landmark and award-winning projects in Singapore over her 28-year career. These projects vary in scale and complexity, including the Leisure Park @ Kallang, Marina Square Shopping Centre, Resorts World Sentosa and more recently, the State Courts Towers. Presently, Ar. Cheryl oversees the development of Singapore projects such as the Eastern Integrated Health Campus, the co-location of two Special Educational Institutions at Ang Mo Kio, a new Secondary School at Sengkang and the redevelopment of Jurong Pioneer Junior College.
