With more than 40 years of experience in the built environment sector and the engineering field, Er. Yeang Hoong Goon currently leads CPG Consultants as its Chief Executive Officer. Hoong Goon brings an outstanding and diverse portfolio that includes landmark projects, such as the National University Hospital and the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, the Tuas and Woodlands Checkpoints, the Ministry of Education headquarters and the Singapore Changi Airport. He is also well-versed in project management, quantity surveying and construction supervision of various developments.

Hoong Goon is well supported by a multi-disciplinary community of established practitioners and talents in CPG Consultants. He firmly believes in continuous improvement driven by integrity, teamwork and innovation.

Er. Chuck Kho is the Deputy CEO of CPG Consultants, leading and supporting both overall operations and the entire engineering group. He has over 26 years of professional experience in Civil & Geotechnical engineering and has worked on a wide range of projects, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, infrastructure, etc. in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, UAE, India and the Philippines.

Chuck has successfully led teams in numerous landmark projects, including Gardens by the Bay, Ng Teng Fong General and Jurong Community Hospital, National Gallery of Singapore, National Centre for Infectious Diseases, State Courts and the Marmaray Bosphorus Crossing (Turkey).

With his rich experience and knowledge across a wide range of typologies, Chuck continues to lead by example, large-scale, complex, multidisciplinary projects while nurturing the new generation of CPG engineers.

Shankar s/o Ramasamy

Every project we do has its own complex challenges, so we must be creative and innovative in balancing design, function and cost. That keeps things interesting.

Ar. Shankar N Ramasamy is the Executive Vice President heading the Architectural Division of CPG Consultants.

Shankar specialises in security planning for sensitive projects such as prison institutions, police and law enforcement facilities, and community facilities, with more than 20 years in the industry. He was instrumental in coordinating and developing the master plan of major projects like the redevelopment of Changi Prison Complex, the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation and the Woodlands Regional Headquarters.

Being the lead design architect for in CPG’s multidisciplinary teams for numerous large-scale projects, he has also provided valuable security consultancy for projects such as the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, the Prison Ward and the Bentong Prison and Data Centre.

Peter How

While we see ourselves as torchbearers to the generations before us, we are also innovators, as we create flexible spaces that satisfy the aspirations of the community.

Ar. Peter How is a Director of Design at CPG Consultants. With more than 40 years of experience, Peter has been involved in a wide range of diversified and notable projects such as the Tuas and Woodlands Checkpoints, the Singapore Botanic Gardens and the Asian Civilisations Museum.

Peter has a deep passion for heritage and is a key specialist in conservation and adaptive reuse. His love for history shows very clearly in the conservation efforts of many of Singapore’s national monuments. His other areas of expertise include master planning, urban design and landscape design. Peter has an active interest in environmental sustainability and is dedicated to conceptualising new approaches and methodologies for sustainable building design.

Lee Soo Khoong

Ar. Lee Soo Khoong now leads the project teams dedicated to the redevelopment of the new Woodlands Checkpoint, which is an exciting, fast-tracked and iconic project.

Soo Khoong possesses 35 years of industry insights and a vast wealth of experience gained from his extensive portfolio. Over the past two decades, he has worked on landmark projects, including the National Gallery of Singapore, Gardens by the Bay (South), Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, National Museum of Singapore, Tuas Checkpoint, and many other projects in Singapore, China, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates.

One of Soo Khoong’s deepest passions and specialist areas is in conservation and adaptive reuse – many of his projects have been gazetted as National Monument Buildings in Singapore and have won numerous awards for their incredible transformations under his watch.

Tan See Chee

We always plan for the next 100 years, because infrastructure addresses essential needs. R&D and the ability to anticipate changes in variables is always part of our approach.

Associate Professor Er. Tan See Chee has wide and valuable experience gained in design and construction of hydraulic, concrete, steel and pre-stressed structures, geotechnical engineering, transit system, highway and bridges. He also has expertise in planning, designing, reviewing and supervision of many residential, leisure and institutional buildings, as well as iconic projects such as Changi Airport Terminal 3 and Pinnacle@Duxton Skybridges.

His notable achievements include the Kim Chuan and Gali Batu MRT Depot, Stamford Detention Tank and Stamford Diversion Canal, SAFTI Link Bridge, Malaysia-Singapore Second-Crossing, Gateway Office Tower, GSH Plaza, Tung Centre, Waterside Condominium and Ria Bintan Golf Course.

See Chee is also active and passionate in serving the community; he was on the Elder Board of Bartley Christian Church and currently serving as a Board Member of Discipleship Training Centre. He has been an Associate Adjunct Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the National University of Singapore since 2003.

Teng Wai Man

With 35 years of airport planning and design experience, Ar. Teng Wai Man has been the driving force behind the growth of CPGairport Division’s overseas projects in China, India, ASEAN and the Middle East.

His notable achievements include award winning designs for the Air Traffic Control Tower of Guangzhou Airport, Wuhan Tianhe Airport Terminal Two, India’s Ahmedabad International Airport and Vietnam’s Can Tho International Airport and Phu Quoc International Airport. In Singapore, Wai Man oversaw the master planning and terminal design of Changi Airport, which is widely acknowledged as one of the best airports in the world.

Managing the Quantity Surveying and Contracts Division, Yeo Tiong Yeow’s portfolio includes institutional, office, courts, healthcare and redevelopment projects. With over 30 years of experience, his expertise has been invaluable for mega-sized development projects such as the New Supreme Court Building, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Duke-NUS Medical School, Changi Terminal II, Jurong Island Link, Singapore University of Technology and Design and the National Art Gallery.

He has also overseen major multi-level basement works for the Institute of Health and National Dental Centre, the Civil Defence Academy and the Institute of Public Administration and Management.

Iyn Ang

Urban Planning is a series of choreographed decisions in accordance to the rhythm of a City’s evolution.

Iyn Ang heads the Urban Planning Division and has more than 16 years of experience spanning a varied range of projects from Architecture to Urban Design & Planning in Singapore and the region. Her firm knowledge on public policies and international law, and the ability to advise on relevant global issues such as sustainability and climate change, bolsters the intricacies needed for good urban planning.

Key projects in Iyn’s portfolio include the nature-based wildlife attraction – Mandai Nature Park, the national water agency PUB’s ABC Waters programme, Da Nang Smart City Master Plan (Vietnam), Xiamen Maluanwan New City Master Plan (China) and the New Smart City (Philippines).

Together with her team, Iyn works with clients to sustainably develop, build and achieve their aspirational visions.

Rohani Baharin

CPGairport creates world-class designs that will distinguish from generic solutions yet possess qualities to stay relevant in the future.

Ar. Rohani Baharin is the Executive Vice President in charge of CPGairport at CPG Consultants. She played a leading role in the development of Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3, as well as the major expansion, upgrading and refurbishment works in Terminals 1 and 2.

Beyond Singapore, she has carried out airport planning and design for numerous projects across the globe, including the airports in India, Fiji, Seychelles, Mauritius, Maldives, Philippines, China, Cambodia, Brunei, Myanmar and Vietnam.

Under her leadership, CPG’s Airport Development division won numerous competitions in the region. With over 28 years of experience, Rohani is also a Lecturer for the Singapore Aviation Academy, where she shares her expertise with Civil Aviation Chief Executives and postgraduates.

Mak Chin Long

Safety, efficiency and reliability are the bedrock of our transportation and infrastructure solutions, which support the liveability of cities.

Dr Mak Chin Long has over 20 years of experience in a wide range of transport planning, modelling and engineering consultancy works for both public and private agencies and organisations in Singapore and overseas.

He has led and advised project teams in more than 150 comprehensive transport and traffic studies for planning and design of transport infrastructure. Selected local key transport projects include Changi Airport Landside (T1, T2, T4, Jewel, CEIZ and T5) and Airside (T1-T5), Tuas SeaPort, Jurong Innovation District, Punggol Digital District, Singapore Sports Hub, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and the North-South Corridor Study. Overseas projects include the Tianjin Eco-City (China), Mashhad City’s Road Pricing (Iran) and SM SuperCity (Phillipines).

A published author and reviewer for international academic journals, Dr. Mak has also been invited to sit on various expert panels in Singapore and overseas to offer his expertise for large development proposals.

Mark Chan

Er. Mark Chan heads the Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Division and has more than 24 years of experience in electrical engineering design.

Mark specialises in electrical / building services, system design, project management and supervision of projects. He has extensive knowledge and expertise on electrical distribution network planning and design, electrical system operation and maintenance.

He has been involved in front-end engineering design, economic analysis, due diligence studies has led teams in M&E installations for commercial, residential and industrial buildings. Notable projects include Tiong Bahru Plaza A&A, Havelock II A&A, Marina One, Standard Chartered Bank Office Relocation and Resorts World at Sentosa.
